Right down town. </font>  </div> <hr  style=" clear: both; visibility: hidden; width: 100%; "></hr>  ]]></content:encoded></item><item><title><![CDATA[Around the World with Improv]]></title><link><![CDATA[http://www.recycledmindsimprov.com/1/post/2011/11/around-the-world-with-improv.html]]></link><comments><![CDATA[http://www.recycledmindsimprov.com/1/post/2011/11/around-the-world-with-improv.html#comments]]></comments><pubDate>Thu, 17 Nov 2011 14:04:01 -0800</pubDate><category><![CDATA[Uncategorized]]></category><guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.recycledmindsimprov.com/1/post/2011/11/around-the-world-with-improv.html</guid><description><![CDATA[    In Edinburgh Scotland   By Sean HancockMy fellow Recycled Minds b [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div ><div class="wsite-image wsite-image-border-thin " style="padding-top:10px;padding-bottom:10px;margin-left:0;margin-right:0;text-align:center"> <a> <img src="http://www.recycledmindsimprov.com/uploads/6/0/9/6/6096590/4115109.jpg?291" alt="Picture" style="width:auto;max-width:100%" /> </a> <div style="display:block;font-size:90%">In Edinburgh Scotland</div> </div></div>  <div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: left; "><font size="4">By Sean Hancock<br /></font><br /><font size="3">My fellow Recycled Minds buddy, Heath Harmison, and I recently returned from Scotland during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.&nbsp;</font><font size="3">We want to throw a <strong>BIG</strong> shout out to all of you that came and supported us, and came to our "Oh to Scotland" Fundraiser Show. &nbsp;You guys helped Heath and I raise around $1000 to go. &nbsp;Thank you!</font><br /><br /><font size="3">After some time in front of the Edinburgh audiences we also had some down time to do white water rafting just miles from the Highlands.<br /><br />We then went to Spain where we experienced something you may describe as magic.&nbsp; The sunshine, Mediterranean sea and the late nights.&nbsp; The warm air and soft hanging lights in the evening combined with kicking across smooth stones from the shore make it feel otherworldly.&nbsp; Well, as for us Americans, it <em>was</em> another world.&nbsp; But, there was something familiar about it, heavenly, even spiritual.<br /></font><br /><font size="3">It's moments like this where you feel blessed to be doing an art form that takes you to different places, to experiencing things you would love to do.<br /><br /><strong>I guess that&rsquo;s a kind of goal in life: to do the things you love to do.</strong><br /><br />Of course, it almost always takes stepping outside of the norm to do so.&nbsp; And, you almost always are learning new things about the world around you and about yourself.<br /><br />I&rsquo;m thankful for Improv as an art form and the friends I have met along the way.<br /><br />I&rsquo;ve discovered that when you say &ldquo;yes and&rdquo; in life, the results are similar to when you do it in improv.
